Veterinary Consent

For Veterinary Physiotherapy Appointments, it is a legal requirement for Veterinary Physiotherapists to gain consent from your vet prior to treating your animal. All I need from you is your Vets contact details and I will sort out the rest before your appointment.

What to Expect During Physiotherapy Initial Appointments

Following consent from your vet, an initial assessment will be carried out. You will need to allow 90-120 minutes for your first appointment. A full assessment will be carried out on your horse or dog to identify any areas that can be treated and worked on. This full assessment will include a static and dynamic assessment, followed by a range of motion assessment and palpation.

After this full assessment, a treatment plan will be discussed. This treatment plan will incorporate a range of Manual Therapies, Electrotherapies, a Home Exercise Programme and Management Techniques.
